Tubectomy is also known as female sterlisation. It is a type of permanent contraception method. There are two fallopian tubes that are attached to uterus. The egg is released from the ovary and through fallopian tubes it is transferred into the uterus. In case there is sperm present in the fallopian tubes then the egg is fertilised in the fallopian tube and gets embedded in the uterus.
